As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with existing mid-market clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer success, retention, and growth while running the full sales cycle. This role requires strong relationship management skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in managing CRM data to enhance pipeline visibility and revenue forecasting while collaborating closely with Ideagen’s Pre-Sales, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Teams to maximize value for clients.
Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and grow existing client accounts, ensuring continued success and revenue expansion.
- Running the Full Sales Cycle: Manage the entire customer journey from onboarding, upselling, and renewal to contract expansion.
- Pipeline Management: Proactively monitor and update the sales pipeline, ensuring visibility and accuracy in Salesforce and HubSpot CRM.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and tailor solutions to maximise value.
- Revenue Growth: Identify and execute opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within your book of business.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use insights from Salesforce and HubSpot to improve sales strategy, forecasting, and customer engagement.
- Client Success & Retention: Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients achieve their business objectives through Ideagen’s solutions.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Manage complex deal cycles, from proposal to contract execution.
- Product Advocacy: Stay informed about product updates and industry trends to drive customer adoption and engagement.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an Account Manager or similar role, preferably in SaaS, compliance, governance, or health & safety tech.
- Advanced proficiency in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce and HubSpot), with experience in managing client relationships, pipeline tracking, and revenue forecasting.
- Strong ability to navigate complex sales cycles, understand customer needs, and position solutions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to grow revenue, expand accounts, and meet/exceed targets.
- Experience in structuring and closing deals in mid-market or enterprise environments.
- Ability to engage with key stakeholders and influence decision-making at multiple levels.
- Familiarity with compliance, governance, and health & safety technology solutions is a plus.
