As a Services Sales Engagement Manager, you will engage with Sales and Revenue Teams with regards to the creation of SoW documentation to ensure an accurate scope is delivered whilst maintaining PS margin and accurately deliverable outcomes for Customers.
You will work closely with Ideagen’s Pre-Sales, Solutions Consultants, and the wider sales team to identify and convert high-value prospects. The role requires strong pipeline management, a deep understanding of SaaS sales methodologies, and the ability to articulate the value of platforms such as Plant Assessor, OpCentral, OnePlace, Damstra, Mail Manager, and other Ideagen solutions
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales and Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with sales team to understand client needs and challenges.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations showcasing the value proposition of professional services offerings.
- Conduct industry research and competitor analysis to inform proposal messaging and pricing strategies.
- Manage project scope and budget estimations for potential engagements.
- Prepare technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase capabilities.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Participate in sales meetings and client presentations, providing technical expertise and answering client questions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organisations.
- Manage client expectations and communication throughout the sales cycle, addressing concerns and building trust.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements in collaboration with the sales team.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth transition to project delivery.
Project Management and Delivery Oversight:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and escalate as needed.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the sales team, project team, and client throughout the engagement.
- Manage client expectations and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure project success.
- Gather client feedback and prepare post-project reports for continuous improvement.
- Gather requirements from customers
- Manage project consulting deliverables
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Obtain and maintain any required industry or Ideagen certifications required for the role
Skills and Experience
- Strong technical expertise in the professional services domain relevant to the sales team's focus.
