We are seeking a Supply Chain Intern to join our operations team. In this role, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and assist in managing the purchasing, materials, and shipping / receiving functions. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, supplier relations, and inventory control, while contributing to the growth and efficiency of the organization
Job Duties
- Process and track purchase orders to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
- Maintain supplier communication to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Track shipments, coordinate with logistics providers, and ensure cost-effective deliveries.
- Pick and issue warehouse material for Work Order kits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in optimizing workflows.
- Monitor supplier performance and support supplier evaluations.
- Collaborate with purchasing, finance, and production teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Provide administrative support, including file maintenance and database updates.
