Job Description
iDeal Deals, LLC is seeking a Sales professional with a solid grasp of customer service to join our team as an Inside Sales Administrator. In this role, you'll partner with the Outside Sales team, supporting with customer communication and record keeping. You'll also collaborate with our Production team to assist in coordinating deliveries, order specifics, and inventory planning. Exceptional people skills are crucial, as you'll be instrumental in fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring seamless sales operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive and as needed communication via phone and email to customers regarding delivery dates, product, or other questions.
- Provide proactive and as needed communication via phone and email to Outside Sales on order statuses, order questions, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of quotes for customers.
- Follow up on jobs in progress and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and experience.
- Update and maintain customer information in the ERP system.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Ability to develop new relationships.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Understanding of sales metrics and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in a Sales support role.
- Experience using ERP systems a plus.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Efficient and organized work style.
- Strong ability to prioritize and balance workload.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time (e.g., 6-8 hours per day) while working at a computer and/or on the phone.
- Ability to read and interpret information on a computer screen.
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively to communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to hear and understand telephone conversations, as well as hear and understand conversations in a typical office environment.
- May be required to lift or carry light objects (e.g., files, office supplies (<15 lbs)).
