BRANCH MANAGERS – Job Description**
Lafayette store requires store managers to be in @ 7AM.... For loading trucks, scheduling deliveries etc. Overtime is paid !
We are looking for a key store manager who can work counter and lead our great team. Great position for someone with experience in management, leadership, teamwork, excellent customer service . WE WILL TRAIN IN THIS POSITION!
HOURS of OPERATION
Mon-Fri 8-5 Saturdays 8-2 **ALL EMPLOYEES ROTATE Saturdays**
**Branch managers/supervisors must have the skills to maintain the same job descriptions as the Counter Sales personnel along with the following duties:
-Opening and closing of Branch including End of Day procedures, balance drawer. -LEADERSHIP ABILITIES to Resolve all matters/problems pertaining to counter employees, customers relations, inventory, deliveries and warehouse AND/OR report/contact your Area Manager ( DONNA/DOE) for assistance.-Continue to Train, Supervise existing and new employees and maintain a professional work environment within your branch, including POSITIVE attitudes and morale.-Boost and sustain Sales and Marketing ideas within the branch. This is critical to maintaining a competitive edge within your branch and local market. They are responsible and must have full working knowledge of all aspects of their branch from opening, counter sales, ordering from vendors, setting up deliveries with driver or warehouse, managing their inventory, purchasing and expense transactions, customer service skills, and closing of the branch, including management of their employees including issues pertaining behavior, job performance and attendance. Keep a clean and organized store. Supervisors at all times must have an open line of communication to all their employees and other management/personnel in other stores and MUST delegate/teach/train all of their employees in their branch on aspects of that employees specific job description and cross training of other jobs is very important. Attend management meetings when necessary and communicate ideas, issues or information of any kind that could improve the branch and or feel comfortable enough to address matters that could be affecting their branch in a negative way.
Sales Counter Duties and Responsibilities-Managers do all the same daily functions as the counter associates. Teamwork is crucial.
1. Oversee Front Counter, this means handling ALL facets of the counter job on a daily basis include assisting and selling to customers, understanding their needs and providing them with necessary product(s) to attain 100% customer satisfaction.
2. Answer phones at counter and assist phone customers in full if they need to place orders, have questions , complete the call 100% to customer satisfaction if you cannot assist the customer then it is important to forward calls and or take complete messages and get to correct person immediately.
3. Assist in inventory maintenance whenever necessary; replenishing/pulling stock/organizing inventory and maintaining inventory control.
4. Maintain clean, neat and organized counter area and store area including counter, warehouse and restrooms, parking lot etc.
5. Assist fellow workers whenever and however necessary
6. Handle and complete all paperwork procedures related to counter positions ,including invoicing, special orders, will call, holds, credits, returns, warranty, purchase orders.
7. Learn how to close out daily and reconcile SBC/Charge It Pro/Cash Etc/End of Day, Petty Cash…. Be able to open and close store if ever needed to do so.
8. Schedule deliveries, and assist delivery driver with loading, unloading trucks and anything else related to supervising the delivery drivers position.
9. Work, communicate and interact pleasantly with coworkers both at counter and in warehouse, delivery driver, supervisor and other branches to maintain open communication and create a harmonious team work environment. When in doubt ask questions …communication is the key to our success and customer satisfaction.
10. Comply with all Ideal rules/ policies and procedures.
11.Position may require at times working with parts/inventory/warehouse, unloading trucks and or loading delivery trucks.
12.Rotate/Work Saturday Schedule
13. Maintain customer goodwill, we work hard to retain our customers, we want them to return. Communicate with the home office on anything related to the branch at anytime. We are a team!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
