Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roller Operator to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to pave and finish concrete surfaces on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate roller equipment to compact soil, asphalt, or concrete during construction projects.
- Ensure proper installation and finishing of concrete surfaces, adhering to project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other crew members to facilitate smooth operations on the construction site.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of roller equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in the operation of other heavy machinery, such as loaders and concrete mixers, as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site to maintain a safe work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with roller machines.
- Familiarity with concrete pumping, paving techniques, and concrete finishing is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred, along with knowledge of commercial vehicle operation.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
