Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Job Captain in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for remote work. The Job Captain will be responsible for coordinating architectural projects, assisting in design development, preparing construction documents, and overseeing project execution. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, collaborating with team members, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Project management, coordination, and oversight skills
- Experience in design development and preparation of construction documents
- Strong skills in architectural software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction methods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in sustainable design is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
