Architect

Job Summary
We are a small architectural firm in Frankfort, il. expanding to a new 2nd. location in Indiana seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team to oversee and manage new location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing (construction drawings only) projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. The Architect will play a crucial role in ensuring that designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Construction drawings only.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present architectural designs that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize software tools such as Autocad to create detailed drawings and models.
• Manage project timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the construction process.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Prepare contract documents and oversee draftsman.
• Oversee renovations and modifications of existing structures while ensuring compliance with building codes.

Skills

• Proficiency in architectural design software including CAD,
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes related to architectural projects.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,134.00 - $101,635.00 per year
