Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a smile, coordinating patient check in and check out. Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude.
- Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed and overseeing schedule of staff/doctors/patients.
- Collect balances and verify insurance when needed.
- Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage & patient financial responsibility for procedures, assist with insurance pre-authorizations and review finance options with patients.
- Must be proficient in periodontics coding and insurance billing.
- Perform all duties relating to supporting the office.
- Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to patients and staff.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years periodontics front office experience required.
- Experience with treatment plans required. Insurance verification experience required.
- Digital practice software experience, Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred.
- Willing to travel other site locations.
