Responsibilities
- Untying and tying arch-wires
- Bending and placing arch-wires
- Fitting bands
- Preparing for and assisting with bonding
- Taking impressions
- Communicating with patients and families
- Taking x-rays and developing x-rays
- Taking intraoral and extraoral photographs
- Utilizing the computer imaging system
- Sterilizing instruments
- Pouring up models
- Inventorying supplies
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Assistant License
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of specific Orthodontic experience
- Must be willing to travel within assigned areas
