Responsibilities:
You will support the dermatologist through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
* Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
* Room patients and document complete medical history in EHR
* Scribe in exam room for physician
* Assist during procedures; biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, and reconstructive surgery
* Set-up surgery trays, assist during excisions, Mohs surgery and wound closures
* Counsel patient with after care and medication instructions
* Management of Accutane registry Ipledge
* Suture removals
* Clean patient rooms between visits and stock supplies as needed
Required Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
MOHS surgical skills preferred.
Injection skills preferred.
Electronic Medical records experience.
Scribe/Documentation skills
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrated track record of Dependability.
Attention to detail
High degree of professionalism.
High degree of Emotional Intelligence.'
