The Opportunity :
The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will communicate the necessary job status data to the operations management team to assure the successful operation of complete and working systems. The journeyman also leads efforts for safe working practices for the Ideal Energy installation team.
What You'll Do :
- Install and maintain the electrical equipment and wiring that connects the PV system to the electrical grid
- Install PV mounting systems and PV modules when necessary
- Ensure that all work performed complies with 2014 NEC code and workmanship
- Communicate the necessary job status data to the Ideal Energy operations management
- Understand and comply with OSHA safety standards for the installation team
- Troubleshoot system problems and resolving electrical issues
- Train, mentor and develop apprentices
- Have a meticulous attention to detail in your overall approach to work

This job requires frequent traveling, primarily in the midwest. Typical work week is Monday-Thursday, but can include weekends.
