Ideal Fire and Security, a growing company in southwest Fort Worth, is seeking a Backflow Technician to join our team immediately.

We are looking for a someone to join our team and perform inspections, testing, and repairs on backflow prevention devices across the DFW area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with inspecting, testing, and repairing backflow prevention devices
• Learn and follow local and state regulations for backflow prevention
• Complete basic reports and documentation accurately
• Provide friendly and professional service at residential and commercial properties
• Help troubleshoot and resolve minor backflow issues
• Keep tools and equipment organized and in good working condition

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn about backflow inspection and repair
• Basic understanding of plumbing or mechanical systems (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Fort Worth, TX 76116: Relocate before starting work (Required)
