Fire Alarm Panel Programmer Responsibilities:
- Program, test, and troubleshoot Notifier, EST, Kidde, Vigilant, Fire-Lite, and Silent Knight fire alarm control panels.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, and modifications for commercial applications.
- Conduct fieldwork, including on-site troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with local and national fire codes and regulations.
- Work with engineering teams to develop and implement customized programming.
- Provide technical support and training for field technicians and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations and programming changes.
Fire Alarm Panel Programmer Requirements:
- Experience with various fire alarm control panels and programming.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm system components, specifications, and equipment.
- FAL License required.
- Experience with Notifier, EST, Kidde, Vigilant, Fire-Lite, and Silent Knight highly desired.
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
