iDEAL Hire is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a travel job opportunity in Connecticut.
About the Position
This role involves working as a CT Technologist in a community hospital setting, performing various radiologic exams and producing high-quality imaging studies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of physics, anatomy, medical terminology, and radiation protection principles related to Radiology Practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing CT and radiologic exams with precision and accuracy
- Preparing rooms and equipment for ordered studies
- Transporting patients to/from the ER to the Imaging department
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT CT certification, ARRT R certification, BLS certification, and CT State License
- Strong knowledge of adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, PACS, Siemens, abdomen without and/or with contrast, colorectal studies (rectal contrast), pelvis without and/or with contrast, chest without and/or with contrast, vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), carotid, head without and/or with contrast, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, multiplanar reconstructions (MRP), region of interest measurement (ROI), isolation precautions, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IV's, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, thoracic, general radiography
