IDEAL interns are provided the opportunity to develop and apply practical skills under the mentorship of subject matter experts in a professional work environment. This includes purposeful connection to intern education and the application of academic theory through relevant, hands-on experience in project management, research, design, data collection and analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement, with a variety of both independent and team-based activities.

The Web Content and Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for creating, editing, and managing online content to ensure it is engaging and up to date. They conduct research to support content creation, implement SEO strategies to enhance visibility, and participating in the website publication process. Additionally, they collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive content strategy and monitor website analytics to assess performance. This role provides valuable support to the content team while offering hands-on experience in digital content management.

Responsibilities:

* Implementing SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine rankings.

* Uploading and organizing content on the website using content management systems (CMS).

* Monitoring website traffic and engagement metrics to assess content performance.

* Regularly updating existing content to keep it current and relevant.

* Reviewing content for accuracy, grammar, and style consistency.

* Working with other team members, such as designers and marketers, to ensure cohesive content strategies.

Requirements:

* Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, English.

* Basic knowledge of HTML

* Basic knowledge of SEO-best practices

* Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) platforms, such as WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager

* Proficiency in graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop

* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

* Keen attention to detail to ensure content accuracy and consistency

The expected hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 to $20.00 per hour.
