Law Clerk Externship

Ideal Legal Group is a predominately family law oriented law firm that has been around for the past 15 years. We’re located in Alhambra and our firm specializes mainly in family law but also dabbles in other areas such as surrogacy law, civil ligation and workers compensation. Our company culture emphasizes the importance of being a hardworking, motivated and dedicated team player. You must be able to lead and wear many hats; while also remaining flexible to unexpected situations. Our firm is looking for a diligent law clerk/law intern with a positive attitude to join us!

Bilingual speaking is a plus, specifically Mandarin or Spanish. We will be able to provide school credit for total amount of hours you’ve interned. Along with a letter of recommendation, if necessary.

This position starts as an externship for experience, and/or school credit. This would be a three (3) month externship with the firm. Thereafter, the individual may be considered for a paid position with the firm after the term of the externship has been completed and depends on individual's performance.

Internship Qualifications

- Strong research skills, confidence and ability to take initiative

- Drafting various litigation documents and other legal documents

- Participating in discovery

- Friendly personality for interaction with clients

- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel

- Organizing client files and creating case reviews

- Attorneys will take interns to court

- Team player and works well in a community environment

- Detail oriented

- Able to think “outside of the box”

- Possess a driver license

- Must be 21 years of age and older
