We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our dynamic Accounting team as an Accounting Analyst. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial processes, reconciling accounts, and contributing to the success of our rapidly growing company. Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong accounting and analytical skills and the ability to work under time constraints.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience at a company with multiple operating entities a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with ERPs preferred
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for reconciliation of merchant accounts (Woo, Paypal, etc) payments to bank receipts daily
- Review, post, reconcile and fix errors daily for eCommerce payments
- Prepare bank reconciliation for merchant accounts
- Reconcile and process contra-revenue activity
- Communicate with merchants representative to resolve any payment processing issues
- Communicate with team members to resolve any merchants’ related questions
- Manage daily/weekly/monthly cash reporting
- Perform and/or prepare ad hoc analysis, tasks and reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and procedures to support the rapid growth and expansion of the Company
- Provide support as required by Accounting Management
