Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receiving, storing, and distribution of products.
- Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers to negotiate better pricing, reduce costs, and improve product availability to enhance store sales.
- Collaborate with the sales and purchasing teams to ensure that product supply supports promotional activities and sales goals.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales by optimizing product availability and analyzing sales trends.
- Develop strategies to increase warehouse profitability, including optimizing stock management, reducing waste, and improving supply chain efficiencies.
- Lead, manage, and train a team of warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize shrinkage and stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to manage incoming shipments and store deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory counts, orders, and deliveries.
- Ensure that all products are stored in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Manage the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and streamline operations.
- Handle equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with warehouse machinery.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, to maintain a safe work environment.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Foster a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and productivity.

- Requirements QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in the retail or grocery industry.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying temperatures, as needed.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Hispanic products and familiarity with related suppliers is highly preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Current forklift certification
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
