The Claims Analyst will work under the Claims Supervisor and General Manager to analyze and process health insurance claims for assigned groups; and other duties that may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Analyze and process claims out of queue daily;
2. Prepare and send correspondence when necessary;
3. Respond to faxes, e-mails and telephone calls;
4. Make and respond to collection calls regarding refunds;
5. Responsible for recoveries, stale dated check report;
6. Occasional maintenance of subrogation files;
7. Must be familiar with ICD-10 and CPT coding;
8. Accurate 10-key data entry;
9. Use calculator to perform math problems;
10. Support assistance as needed;
11. Regular and timely attendance is required; and
12. Performs any other duties as required or assigned.
