Summary
Contribute to the research and development of innovative, market-centric products. Develop high-quality analytical algorithms (i.e. using machine learning, predictive analytics) with responsibility for programming, testing, and documenting. Optimize the product platform architecture and solve technical difficulties. Analyze data and build reliable and scalable cloud-based SaaS system for solving high value research problems relevant to revenue and profit optimization. Create and deploy new intellectual property to innovatively fulfill the needs of customers.
Major Responsibilities
- Build pricing computational model to optimize product prices in real-time.
- Build reliable and scalable modules to transfer real-world data to analytics data.
- Carry out analytical data analysis in support of research activities.
- Collaborate with other members of the development, testing, and product management teams with an understanding of the business requirements.
- Perform analysis, estimation, architecture designing, development and implementation.
- Build cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Improve performance and efficiency of analytics software.
- Perform other duties independently, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in related computer science/engineering/analytical sciences field.
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience in one or more programming language (C/C , Python)
- Good knowledge of Unix environment, capable of utilizing various Linux distros.
- Good understandings of containers, K8S, and cloud-computing
- Good understanding in the fields of distributed computing, software performance enhancement and memory management.
- Good database skills with RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Analytical Sciences field.
- Experience in computational method development and high-performance computational method.
- Experience in developing distributed, multi-threaded computing systems.
- Experience in algorithm implementation and design.
- Experience in developing cloud-based systems with containers & K8S.
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in technical documentation writing.
