This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fiber optic cable installation projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage a team of field technicians and coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and customers.

We are looking for a Fiber Installation Manager to join our growing team! This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fiber optic cable installation projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage a team of field technicians and coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of field technicians, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve project goals and maintain high levels of productivity and safety.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, industry best practices, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
- Revises and defines master plans to meet installation demands in a timely manner
- Leads territory planning
- Passion for leading and motivating others
- Ability to learn and use team member talents to maximum capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Ability to influence appropriate decision making
- Strong organizational skills and ability to pivot with priorities

Experience/Knowledge Required:
- 5 years experience managing a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working as a Technician, Installer, or in Operations
- Understanding of fiber optic cable installation principles, splicing techniques, testing procedures, and industry standards (e.g., ANSI/SCTE). Proficiency in the use of industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Bachelor’s Degree
