Location : New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities
- IT work experience (financial industry preferred but will consider a strong candidate from other industries)
- Strong software and business systems design, analysis, and development skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing and / or supporting 24 / 7 mission-critical applications
- Participate in team development and support of various components of large-scale applications
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of Java and Oracle
- Familiarity with distributed computing infrastructures, UNIX Shell programming, Perl, XML, finance, risk management, derivatives, and / or other financial instruments a plus
- Experience with some Java UI Framework a plus (Swing preferred)
