Skilled Laborer

We’re looking to add a reliable skilled laborer to our team. We are a custom home builder and commercial builder in Greeneville, TN. We work 7-4:30 M-Tr and 7-3:30 on Friday. We are a family owned company and are looking for employees with outstanding character that would reflect our values of high quality and honesty. WE DO NOT LAY OFF OUR EMPLOYEES when the weather gets bad or things get slow. We value each employee and make it our priority to support them well.

In this position, you will complete a variety of construction tasks. It will be your job to ensure that those tasks are completed as efficiently and effectively as possible. The work that you do each day can change based on our needs. But you should expect to spend some time spreading gravel, doing trim carpentry, moving material from site to site, using different power tools, and assisting with heavy machinery to perform site work. It’s essential that you’re able to perform all of these tasks without violating our safety procedures and while abiding by all relevant local building codes.

We’re looking for candidates who are capable of carrying out many different skilled labor tasks with minimal supervision. We’d also prefer candidates who have previous experience in a similar role. Skilled Laborer Responsibilities:

• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools
• Assist with the operation of heavy machinery
• Complete many different construction tasks, including drilling, painting, carpentry, and moving materials from one place to another.
• Commit to continually improving your skills through on-the-job training

Skilled labor requirements

• Valid Drivers License and a vehicle capable of transporting the employee to each job site each day.
• High school diploma or similar
• Previous experience or the completion of a relevant apprenticeship is preferred
• Ability to use a wide variety of tools
• Capable of working well with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
