Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to meet business needs and optimize inventory levels.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to forecast demand accurately.
- Utilize inventory management software and tools to track inventory levels, forecast demand, and generate purchase orders.
- Ensure optimal stock levels to minimize costs and avoid stockouts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock levels.
- Implement inventory control mechanisms and processes to minimize waste and spoilage.
- Developing production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and company targets.
- Ensuring efficient use of resources (materials, labor, equipment).
- Creating master production schedules (MPS) and detailed production schedules.
- Managing capacity planning and shop order release
- Support quality issues, DMR, disposals
- Manages 2-4 people.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of inventory planning and management experience. Proficient excel use required. BA preferred. Experience with Microsoft GP and Stockiq a plus.
