Responsibilities
- Coordinates and supports a team that receives, stores, and distributes materials, equipment, and / or supplies.
- Tracks inventory by performing physical counts and verifying information against warehousing systems.
- Monitors operations for compliance with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution where applicable.
- Ensures that warehouses or distribution centers are clean, organized, and comply with established safety policies and regulations.
- Manages inventory and supplies and ensures their safe and efficient storage and delivery.
- Develops and implements work processes to streamline the shipping and receiving operations.
- Maintains appropriate records and reports of shipments and inventory.
- Understands warehouse safety guidelines and rules – give direction or rebuke.
- Attends meetings (MRB, SCM communication, etc) to communicate current information and answer questions for SPR Warehouse area.
- Communicates with customers, carriers, vendors, and employees on a regular basis, exchanging shippingand receiving information.
- Troubleshoots any physical inventory issues whether in warehouse, factory, or outbound shipment to other facilities or customers.
- Guides and directs the daily workload of shipping and logistics clerks so that all job tasks are completed in an efficient fashion.
- Maintains stock by ordering packing and shipping supplies as necessary.
- Return phone calls to customers and help direct customer information to the appropriate IDEMIA SCM employee.
- Resolves problems and issues with freight shipments and small package shipments and alerts security if secure materials have been lost or damaged in transit to customers or factory facilities.
- Files freight damage claims by collecting appropriate documentation required by carrier.
- Ensures that all company policies and procedures are followed by the warehouse team.
- Works with maintenance or JLL if there are issues with warehouse equipment, garage doors, security doors, dock lock, or dock flooding.
- Ensures staff are forklift certified, if not, training will need to be setup before operating forklifts.
- Oversees accumulating workforce to complete yearly physical inventory.
- Approves all freight invoices and challenge any incorrect charges with appropriate carrier and broker.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $62,400 - $78,000 / yr bonus benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
