Overview: IDEMIA Exton, PA, is looking to add a Generalist Systems Administrator III to our Local IT Team as part of a global IT organization to ensure security, support and performance via IT Infrastructure services to our Manufactory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a lead\first-level supervisor during any manager absence to provide leadership and be the escalation point of contact for the department.
- Manage and maintain maintenance plans and automated jobs for Microsoft SQL server databases. Data Bases Administration
- Ensure Business Continuity Plan for the site based on routine test and samples
- Remediate Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities
- 24 x 7 Availability for emergency based on an on call routine.
- Network administration with Firewalls, Probes, routers, switches, data link circuits. LAN, WAN, WLAN
- Data Center Devices Design, Configurations and management. Physical Server, Virtual Server, Clusters, Storage, DAS, NAS, ISCSI, Hyper-V and Vmware.
- Manage the Change Advisory Board to discuss proposed changes to local systems and procedures with other departments to ensure awareness and support.
- Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Infrequent travel to other IDEMIA sites to support IT initiatives and requirements.
- Manage Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Invoicing and Investment Requests for IT consumables and new projects / vendor contracts.
- Act as a project manager to Research, Plan, Coordinate and Deploy new solutions to improve the security, efficiency and automation of the site’s workflow.
- Develop and maintain automated scripting engines to process and transfer data throughout the IDEMIA network.
- Routinely audit changes to corporate documentation and align local policies and procedures to match these standards. Also create and maintain Local policies and procedures.
- Preform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual audits of internal systems for Logical Security \ Cybersecurity Compliance.
- Apply industrial standards and methodologies (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 8D, 5W) to support the business.
- Coordinate with external vendors as necessary to facilitate 3 rd party system maintenance and upgrades such as telephony, HVAC, Security CCTV, and Internet access.
