Jewelry Sales Consultant
Location: Austin, TX, 78757
Job Type: In person, part-time (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) - possibility to grown into a full time position.

We are a small, woman-owned bridal & fine jewelry boutique located in the heart of Austin, dedicated to providing an inclusive, no-pressure shopping environment. Our products are ethically focused, with a strong emphasis on traceable sourcing and environmentally responsible practices. We value creativity, respect, and strong interpersonal relationships with our customers. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in a part-time role, with possibility for full-time and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Assist customers in the store by providing product knowledge and an exceptional customer experience. Understand and communicate the brand story and mission to clients, ensuring consistency with the brand's overall messaging.
- Educate clients on our available services and products, and be knowledgeable in all facets of Identity Diamonds offers to guide them toward services that fit their needs, whether it be suggesting them existing products or scheduling a custom design meeting
- Effectively communicate and nurture relationship with clients via email, text, and/or phone through the sales cycle and beyond.
- Uphold visual merchandising standards by keeping the showroom clean & organized, including putting out and putting away all merchandise in the morning and at night.
Data Entry
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist project management with data entry tasks.
- Support efficient operations by ensuring all customer and sales information is recorded accurately in our systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience in jewelry or other luxury items (preferred but not required):
- Prior sales experience is a strong asset, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and connect with customers in an authentic way, and the capacity to understand their needs even when their vision isn't crystal clear.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle and present high value items with elegance and eloquence, with a focus on accuracy and attention to the intricacy.
- A passion for nurturing relationships and guiding people towards the best outcome for their inquiry
- A keen eye for creativity, design, and aesthetics.

Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience
