DESCRIPTION
IDEOlogy Health is looking for an experienced Contract Specialist or Senior Contracts Specialist to join a medical education and data analytics company with a mission to impact patients by providing the best medical education to healthcare providers. This specialist role will oversee contracting duties for IDEOlogy Health while working with various IDEOlogy business functions and reporting directly to the General Counsel.
This opportunity is hybrid (2 days a week in our Austin, TX office) but we are willing to consider remote candidates, if best qualified.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Established skills in all aspects of contract management lifecycle in the healthcare (or similarly highly regulated) industry.
· Review and revise contracts independently or with minimal supervision.
· Maintain and update contracts database, including templates, and generate reports from database, as necessary.
· Draft simple agreements and letters and/or adapt existing templates and forms.
· Proficiency with one or more contract lifecycle management platforms and ability to adapt such experience, as necessary.
· Assist in the development and implementation of contracts, a contracts “playbook,” and any related policies, procedures, and training.
· Assist in contract compliance, auditing, and monitoring.
· Coordinate with relevant business functions to obtain necessary input and approvals for contracts.
· Knowledge of general contracting terms and language.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· A B.S. or B.A. from a U.S.-accredited college or university.
· At least 3 years of relevant contracting and/or procurement experience.
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with external and internal clients.
· Detail-oriented and able to function in an evolving, growth-focused environment.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
· A positive attitude and the ability to seamlessly blend into IDEOlogy’s corporate culture.
· Paralegal, CPCM, or CCCM certification is a plus.
· Proficient in all Microsoft Products and Adobe.
· Willingness to travel at least 25% (if located outside of Austin, Texas).
