What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager, High Purity position at IDEX Corporation?
Mission of the position : Role is responsible for leading R&D initiatives to develop and expand Mott’s product portfolio, particularly in the High Purity (semiconductor) market. The position will lead teams of scientists / engineers / technicians within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Candidates are expected to have deep subject-matter expertise in one or more areas of mechanical engineering and a track record of developing and moving products into production.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver custom filtration, flow control and purification products to Mott’s key Semiconductor Customers.
Identify & address technical risks in new product development initiatives in both design and manufacturing.
Develop new capabilities and data to support commercial efforts to win new opportunities
Collaborate / mentor in a strong team environment.

Expected Performance Outcomes
Customer : Partner with Commercial Team and Customer to guide Customer to proposed solutions. Follow up with detailed Scope of Work to execute on projects.
Product launch : Launch three to five new products per year with ramped potential of $20M in sales.
Speed : Deliver initial proof-of-concept samples to customers within 3 months and maintain project timelines and Customer commitments.
Innovation : At least 3 new patent disclosures / year
Data : Execute experiments internally and externally to support 5 to 10 data packages / white papers per year for marketing collateral and datasheets.
Develop a design method for all new products to enable manufacturing scale-up and product expansion.
Provide subject-matter expertise to the organization in one or more areas of mechanical engineering.
Required Experience
New product development in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of mechanical engineering. Technical Knowledge / Skills
B.S Mechanical Engineering, M.S. / Ph.D. preferred
10 years semiconductor experience, 5yrs if M.S. / Ph.D.
Practical experience applying theory to materials, components, and systems.
