Primary Responsibilities :
Oversee Design Engineering Test Lab
Create and execute testing plans for new product / sustaining , thermal testing, vibration and mechanical shock testing, flow testing, and tensile strength tests.
Recommend and execute lab upgrades
Create standard testing procedures, protocols, and standard work for validating Banjo products or supplier components.
Oversee and perform product tests, compile and analyze results, make recommendations based on test results.
Assist manufacturing in specifying and implementing in line and end of line product tests
Responsible for safety, cleanliness, and organization of Engineering Lab.
Serve as project manager for assigned New Product Development / Sustaining Engineering projects.
Consults with Engineering team and Manufacturing team on product testing plans, results, and potential product improvements

Requirements
4 year degree in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Eng)
5 years of experience as a Test Engineer working with mechanical products preferred
Experience developing test plans and procedures
Experience designing, performing, and coordinating validation and verification testing
Experience managing projects.
Skills / Abilities :
Read, understand, and interpret technical specification, quality requirements, technical standards, etc.
Design product tests
Specify and source test equipment
Manage and supervise test personnel and equipment
Perform product testing
Analyze test results and make recommendations based on test data.
Maintain modern lab with necessary equipment to support new product testing, comparative testing, life tests, performance tests, etc.
3D modeling capability preferred
