**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Operations Engineer to join our team at IDEX. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing processes, lean value stream process support, and maintenance of manufacturing processes to maximize productivity while minimizing costs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop organizational wide automation, machining, and assembly strategy, and have a deep understanding of metal cutting equipment and programming needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions associated with the product, including assembly, final assembly, paint, and test, and special processes.
- Assist in the training and evaluation of manufacturing processes, and coordinate manufacturing process changes resulting from Engineering Change Notices or new product implementation.
- Prepare routings for new or revised parts, or to reflect modifications of current manufacturing methods, and process information, cost, and prototype requests as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibilities including automation.
- Experience in integrated control system troubleshooting and configuration, and familiarity with Vision Systems and motion controllers/actuators.
