We seek an experienced Platform Integration Architect to define and drive strategy, standards, and ecosystem for our IT Reference Labs. You will lead the design and integration of operational systems, ensuring seamless data and process flows across our global business.
As a technical leader, you will standardize interfaces with cloud applications, data engineering platforms, and third-party services . Your expertise will shape next-generation applications in our LIMS (Lab Information Management System) ecosystem, optimizing interoperability and efficiency.
In this role you will...
- Define Integration Strategy : Develop and communicate a platform integration strategy aligned with business goals, in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Design Platform Architecture : Create a secure, scalable, and high-performance architecture to support API-led connectivity, reusability, and modularity by adhering to industry best practices.
- Establish Governance : Implement and enforce governance standards to ensure consistency and quality throughout the application lifecycle.
- Select and Optimize Platforms : Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of platforms to streamline development, deployment, and management across cloud infrastructure.
- Oversee Development Teams : Guide the design, development, and maintenance of applications using REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, gRPC, JSON-RPC, SOAP, Webhooks, and OData standards.
- Stay Updated with Trends : Keep up with emerging API technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending their integration into the ecosystem.
- Foster Team Collaboration : Promote a collaborative team environment focused on innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct Code Reviews : Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement Vendor System Integrations : Design and integrate vendor software to meet Product Team requirements and ensure optimal performance.
- Analyze Solution Architectures : Evaluate current solution architectures to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Design Complex Systems : Lead the design of large, complex systems, conducting impact analysis on major design choices.
- Provide Technical Guidance : Offer technical governance on integration standards and implementation approaches.
- Assist in Integration Implementation : Contribute to the implementation of integrations using API and integration platforms.
- Evaluate Risks and Edge Cases : Assess edge cases and potential risks such as security breaches and system behavior to ensure full-stack availability.
