Software Asset Management Platform Analyst

The IT Asset Management Platform Analyst will be responsible for configuring the asset management platform to drive platform value by providing centralized visibility of IT assets, creating operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and enabling cost optimization. Enabling proper asset lifecycle management, automated processes, and actionable analytics, the platform analyst will contribute to the organization’s ability to make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

• Platform Administration: Configure, maintain, and update the asset management platform to effectively manage the lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal. Ensure integrations with other IT systems (i.e. CMDB, HR). Manage user roles, permissions, and system access.
• Data Management: Establish data collection, entry, and validation processes. Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the platform. Implement processes to regularly audit and reconcile asset data.
• Analysis & Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on IT asset inventory, compliance, utilization, and cost. Create dashboards for stakeholders, ensuring visibility into key metrics to effectively communicate findings.
• Optimization: Develop automation to drive efficiency in asset management operations. Partner to provide insights for cost optimization.
• Effective Collaboration: Work closely with the Asset Management Team, End User Architecture, Service Delivery, and other teams in IDEXX to understand requirements and implement/maintain solutions. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Incident Management and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues. Coordinate with vendors or internal teams for platform upgrades or fixes.
• Policy and Governance Support: Ensure the platform assists in driving compliance with ITAM policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  
  

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience as an IT Asset Management Platform Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in asset management and asset management software and tools.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Outcome-driven self-starter, able to effectively handle multiple demands and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work with partners to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Strong/advanced knowledge of data, databases, and their manipulation.
• Ability to quickly learn and leverage various software tools and systems.
• Design, implement, and deliver reporting and analyses in partnership with stakeholders.
