As a Systems Administrator , you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our global end-user computing environment. You’ll focus on delivering robust, secure, and scalable solutions that encompass endpoint operating systems, mobile devices, cloud-based services, and SaaS applications. A key aspect of this role is the packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of software, as well as the administration of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) platforms. You will collaborate closely with a forward-thinking team dedicated to leveraging emerging technologies and delivering high-quality, user-centric IT solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
Software Packaging & Deployment :
Package, test, and deploy Windows-based applications through Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and cloud-based solutions.
Manage MacOS application packaging and deployment leveraging JAMF.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish application packaging standards, streamline deployment processes, and maintain application compliance.
Incident, Problem & Lifecycle Management :
Manage incident and problem tickets related to end-user architecture, providing prompt resolution and communication to stakeholders.
Conduct lifecycle management and QA testing for key productivity tools, hardware, and services, ensuring compatibility, security, and performance standards.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation :
Contribute to the evaluation, selection, and adoption of new technologies, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines and strategic business objectives.
Stay current with emerging end-user computing trends, tools, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and process optimization.
What You Will Need to Succeed :
Technical Expertise :
In-depth understanding of enterprise endpoint technologies, including Windows 10 / 11, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Software Packaging & Deployment :
Hands-on experience packaging Windows applications using Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and Intune.
Proficiency with JAMF for MacOS administration and application distribution.
Automation & Scripting :
Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) for automating tasks and streamlining configuration management.
Familiarity with modern CI / CD methodologies for continuous application delivery is a plus.
Communication & Problem-Solving :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
