What are the responsibilities and job description for the GPO Production Operator position at IDI Fabrication Inc.?
We are hiring a GPO Production Operator to join our team! You will operate an open thermal mold press, formula mixes, as well as package and prep final product for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate press and make adjustments to equipment to ensure conforming material is manufactured
- Follow written instructions and specifications for proper pour pattern, fiberglass ply lay up, resin section, resin weight, color etc.
- Follow written instructions to formulate mix
- Inspecting and documenting finished product
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Able to work on your feet all day
- Willing to work in dusty environment
- Able to lift 60 lbs.
- Can work with micrometers and document measurements
- Clearly communicate with fellow employees
- Valid drivers license
- Basic math skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.82 - $24.72 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
