Job Summary
Excellent opportunity for a qualified - skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, environment. Individual will assist our seasoned Chef with all custom Asian / Thai modern cuisine. Help, learn, and move up.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Experience
- Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or relevant position
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Experience with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Culinary school diploma is a plus but not required
