Comfortable and reputable Asian Fusion restaurant serving original custom cuisine seeking a seasoned and skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. Sushi quality and presentation is important to meet and balance the quality standards of the dishes that originate from the Kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food orders
- Monitor and manage inventory of sushi ingredients
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Skills
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-making techniques
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used in sushi preparation
