Job Summary
Idletyme, located on Mountain Road in Stowe, VT, is looking for the right person to join our management team! Supervise and lead the front-of-house team, including servers, bartenders, and support teams
- Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism
- Oversee the setup and presentation of dining areas, ensuring they meet Idletyme’s quality standards
- Participate in weekly manager meetings, come to the table with solutions
- Train and mentor the front-of-house team on service and hospitality standards, systems, event protocols, and customer service
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to ensure all staff members are well-prepared for their roles
- Hold all members of the Idletyme team accountable in regards to SOP’s, check lists, policies and procedures
- Provide constructive feedback to employees in real time
- Provide feedback to management team in regards to individual team member performance
- Effectively resolves conflict amongst team members
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively
- Maintain a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for guests, and handle guest issues with professionalism
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service, addressing any issues promptly.
- Uphold Campfire Hospitality's commitment to excellence and brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in front-of-house management within the hospitality industry or willingness to grow into a leadership role with experience in all FOH positions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations
- Familiarity with Restaurant 365 or willing to learn
- Enthusiastic and adaptable team player
