Job Summary

The Confluence Hotel is currently seeking skilled and customer-focused individuals to join our team as banquet bartenders. As a banquet bartender, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional beverage service during our banquet and event operations. With The Confluence Hotel's commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction, we are looking for individuals who possess a strong knowledge of mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of beverages, engaging with guests to ensure their needs are met, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. Your passion for mixology, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure will contribute to the success of our banquet operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks to guests during banquet events
• Manage bar operations, including cash handling and POS systems
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available
• Set up and break down events, including bar equipment and supplies
• Coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth operations
• Provide exceptional customer service and responsible alcohol service
• Ensure drink presentation is of high quality
• Work efficiently and quickly to serve guests in a timely manner
• Work as part of a team to ensure successful events

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a banquet bartender or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, bartending, and mixology
• Excellent communication skills
• Efficient and speedy
• Strong focus on customer service and responsible alcohol service
• Experience with bar operations, cash handling, and POS systems
• Experience with bar equipment and inventory management
• Experience with event coordination and setup/breakdown
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills
