The Confluence Hotel is currently seeking professional and attentive individuals to join our team as banquet servers. As a banquet server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service during our banquet and event operations. With The Confluence Hotel's commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction, we are looking for individuals who possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include setting up banquet venues, serving food and beverages to guests, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your ability to anticipate guests' needs, communicate effectively, and work well as part of a team will contribute to the success of our banquet operations.

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet tables and arrange seating according to event specifications
• Provide food and beverage service to guests
• Coordinate with guests to ensure their needs are met
• Assist with banquet events, including buffets and plated dinners
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Perform tableside service and tray passing
• Present plates in an attractive manner
• Ensure order accuracy and operate POS system
• Assist with banquet setup and breakdown
• Work well in a team environment
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Problem-solve and pay attention to detail
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a banquet server
• Excellent customer service skills
• Tableside service and tray passing experience
• Plate presentation skills
• POS system operation experience
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
