The Confluence Hotel is currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. As the Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth front desk operations and providing exceptional guest service. Your responsibilities will include supervising front desk staff, assisting with guest check-ins and check-outs, resolving guest concerns, coordinating room assignments, and maintaining accurate records. Your ability to handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism, adapt to changing needs, and maintain a high level of organization will contribute to the success of our front desk operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes, reservation management, and customer service
- Supervise front desk staff, providing team leadership, training and development, and problem-solving support
- Coordinate shift schedules and ensure smooth transitions between shifts
- Upsell and cross-sell hotel amenities and services to guests
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Utilize a property management system to manage guest information and reservations
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring front desk procedures are followed, and guest needs are met
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team of front desk staff
- Proficiency in cash handling and financial transactions
- Experience with property management systems
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
