About the Job:
- Run computerized tomography equipment to generate clear images of targeted body regions according to physician instructions.
- Conduct scans on newborns, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors with precision and thoroughness.
- Inject IV contrast when required and double-check accurate placement of IV catheters.
- Exhibit a comprehensive grasp of cross-sectional anatomy to efficiently capture and dissect images.
- Develop effective rapport with patients, families, doctors, and healthcare staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to safety rules and preserve clean, organized workplaces.
- Review acquired images for quality and integrity, ensuring alignment with departmental regulations.
Qualifications:
A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology institution and certification as a CT Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) are fundamental requirements.
