Job Description for the Database Engineer :
Support the migration efforts of the integrated resident information system, which includes Cerner Millennium, Dentrix, CareTracker and RLDatix Risk Module to a new SaaS solution. This includes comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system. The Systems Analyst II will be responsible for designing and implementing workflows that integrate with the existing system, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal functionality of the new system. The Worker will document all phases of the migration process, engage with clinical and IT stakeholders for requirements gathering, and ensure clear communication throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
Required Skills for the Database Engineer :
- 7 years' experience with Database management systems and data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems, particularly those involving complex integrations like Cerner Millennium
- 7 years' experience in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting, crucial for the efficient migration of data to new SaaS platforms. Also, skill in using EXCEL, Word, Visio, and other spreadsheet software.
