Responsibilities for the Billing Specialist :
- Ensure accurate billing for ambulance services across multiple locations, managing both 911 emergency and non-emergency claims.
- Assist with filtering and responding to claims-related correspondence, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders and resolving outstanding issues.
- Provide assistance in handling additional billing tasks that may have been delayed or fallen behind due to the recent system implementation.
- Work independently in a fast-paced setting, ensuring efficient organization, customer service, and professionalism while maintaining clear communication with team members and external partners.
