Position Overview / Responsibilities for the ETL Developer :
The ETL Developer role involves the implementation and configuration of infrastructure for the data integration hub. This includes the design, development, and implementation (DD&I) of the hub using an agile methodology throughout all standard SDLC phases, which includes validating performance metric requirements, creating Epics / User Stories / Tasks, and automating data acquisition from various sources. Additionally, the role involves developing complex SQL scripts, conducting integration, load, and stress testing, and handling the deployment and publication of the system both internally and externally. Ongoing operations support and enhancements of the data integration hub are also required.
Required Skills for the ETL Developer :
- 8 years' experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC or Power Center.
- 8 years' experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts that are fast and efficient
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project.
- Professional experience supporting State of Texas agencies
