Position Overview for the Technical Writer :
Develop, edit, and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including procedural manuals, instructional materials, technical summaries, and user guides for IT systems and processes.
Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect to document infrastructure changes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Audit and update outdated technical documentation to bring materials up to current standards, addressing any backlogged documentation needs.
Work with IT teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into clear, accessible documents for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop templates, style guides, and best practices to standardize documentation across the IT Division. Required Skills for the Technical Writer :
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a large IT or technology-driven environment.
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to distill complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and technical diagramming software (e.g., Visio).
