Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Performance Engineer :
- Analyzes and evaluates performance and scalability across multiple system tiers, focusing on the data tier in both cloud and on-prem environments.
- Identifies performance bottlenecks, proposes solutions, and simulates user / system traffic to assess component behavior.
- Optimizes code, queries, and system configurations to enhance response time, scalability, and resource efficiency.
- Analyzes Oracle wait events, AWR data, and system behavior, generating reports to predict system performance under full load.
- Conducts root cause analysis on performance issues, forecasts future performance needs, and communicates findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
