IDR is seeking a 100% Remote Senior Data Engineer to join one of our top clients in Las Vegas . This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a dynamic engineering team, delivering data warehouse, ETL, reporting solutions, and transactional database support.

Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Sr Data Engineer :

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, maintainable data architecture and high-quality data models
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and / or business requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
  • Participate in the Agile development process by contributing to daily standups, release planning, demos, and retrospectives

Required Skills for Sr Data Engineer :

  • 5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
  • Proficiency in creating SQL database objects and performance tuning SQL queries
  • Proficiency with Data Modeling, OLAP, SQL, and ETL
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
  • Strong teaming skills, professional attitude, enthusiastic, collaborative, and approachable
