Position Overview for the Cloud Engineer:
This employee will participate in the cloud governance workgroup to develop and maintain the standards for toolsets within Azure / AWS or other relevant cloud environments. Develop and implement best practices for service management, change processes, monitoring, and cost management that optimize the existing infrastructure and eliminate redundant applications and tools. Day to day: will work with different clients and service providers across the enterprise; enterprise security and infrastructure teams in determining the integration design patterns.
Required Skills for the Cloud Engineer:
- 7 years’ experience working in Infrastructure/Security engineering position
- 5 years of experience Designing, Developing, Deploying, and/or Migrating to Cloud environments
- Proficient experience working with current industry security technologies
- Ability to drive innovation by automating infrastructure
- Proficiency reviewing critical code and using testing software
